Matthew Keenan is an Australian people, Australian Sportscaster, commentator and journalist who covers professional Road bicycle racing, cycling. Keenan commentates on major races Paris-Nice, Paris-Roubaix, Tour de France, Tour Down Under, and Vuelta a España from location for ITV Network, ITV, and Australia's Special Broadcasting Service, SBS. The rest he covers remotely at the SBS Sydney office. Keenan and Gracie Elvin co-hosted the Seven Network broadcast of the 2023 Santos Women’s Tour Down Under used by Peacock (streaming service), Peacock in the US. Vuelta A España
The Vuelta a España (; en, Tour of Spain) is an annual multi-stage bicycle race primarily held in Spain, while also occasionally making passes through nearby countries. Inspired by the success of the Tour de France and the Giro d'Italia, the race was first organised in 1935. The race was prevented from being run by the Spanish Civil War and World War II in the early years of its existence; however, the race has been held annually since 1955. As the Vuelta gained prestige and popularity the race was lengthened and its reach began to extend all around the globe. Tour Down Under
The Tour Down Under (branded as the Santos Tour Down Under under a partnership arrangement) is a cycling race in and around Adelaide, South Australia, and is traditionally the opening event of the UCI World Tour and features all 19 UCI WorldTeams. It also runs as a UCI Women's ProSeries event and features a one-day circuit race as a 'prelude' to the main race.
