Matthew Highmore
Matthew Highmore (born February 27, 1996) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player, currently playing with the Belleville Senators in the American Hockey League (AHL) while under contract to the Ottawa Senators of the National Hockey League (NHL). He has previous played for the Chicago Blackhawks, Vancouver Canucks and St. Louis Blues Playing career Highmore was drafted eighth overall by the Saint John Sea Dogs of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) in the 2012 QMJHL Entry Draft. The Rockford IceHogs are a professional ice hockey team based in Rockford, Illinois. The Iowa Wild are a professional ice hockey team in the American Hockey League, that began play for the 2013–14 season. The team plays at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa, as the AHL affiliate of the NHL's Minnesota Wild. The team was formerly the Houston Aeros, in Houston, Texas, before being relocated to Des Moines, beginning with the 2013–14 AHL season as the Iowa Wild. 2021–22 NHL Season
The 2021–22 NHL season was the 105th season of operation (104th season of play) of the National Hockey League (NHL). The league expanded to 32 teams with the addition of the Seattle Kraken. The league had an October-to-April regular season scheduling and a full 82-game regular season for the first time since the 2018–19 NHL season as the previous two NHL seasons were shortened due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Adam Gaudette (born October 3, 1996) is an American professional ice hockey center for the Springfield Thunderbirds of the American Hockey League (AHL) while under contract to the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League (NHL). He previously played for the Vancouver Canucks, Chicago Blackhawks, and Ottawa Senators. Gaudette played college ice hockey for the Northeastern Huskies of the NCAA, where he won the Hobey Baker Award, Hockey East Player of the Year, and was named to the AHCA East First-Team All-American. Tyler Sikura (born May 18, 1992) is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre who is currently playing for HC Bolzano of the ICE Hockey League (ICEHL) Playing career Tyler Sikura played midget hockey in the Markham Waxers system, then played two years of Junior A hockey with the Newmarket Hurricanes. Sikura played four years for the Dartmouth Big Green, where he was named a first team Ivy League All Star in 2013. He captained the Big Green for his final two seasons. Following his collegiate career, he played a pair of games for the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League (AHL). 2018 Calder Cup Playoffs
The 2018 Calder Cup playoffs of the American Hockey League began on April 19, 2018, with the playoff format that was introduced in 2016. The sixteen teams that qualified, eight from each conference, played best-of-five series in the division semifinals, with the playoffs continuing with best-of-seven series for the division finals, conference finals, and Calder Cup finals.
