Matthew Atkinson
John Matthew Atkinson (born December 31, 1988) is an American actor and musician. Atkinson was born in Marietta, Georgia. Atkinson's family moved around several times, living in Alabama and Mississippi before settling in Kennesaw, Georgia. After high school, Atkinson moved to Atlanta taking college courses, while simultaneously pursuing acting, eventually moving to Los Angeles. Atkinson is of Native American and Irish descent. Career Atkinson made his television debut on The WB/ CW drama series '' One Tree Hill''. Atkinson appeared in the Academy Award winning film '' The Blind Side''. Atkinson has also appeared in ''CSI: Crime Scene Investigation'' and '' Drop Dead Diva''. Marietta is a city in and the county seat of Cobb County, Georgia, United States. At the 2020 census, the city had a population of 60,972. The 2019 estimate was 60,867, making it one of Atlanta's largest suburbs. Marietta is the fourth largest of the principal cities by population of the Atlanta metropolitan area. History Etymology The origin of the name is uncertain. It is believed that the city was named for Mary Cobb, the wife of the U.S. Senator and Superior Court judge Thomas Willis Cobb. The Olympian is the name of two fictional characters in DC Comics. Publication history The original Olympian first appeared in "The Super Friends" #9 (December 1977) and was part of a 3-issue story arc that introduced other international super heroes, and the Wonder Twins, to DC continuity.
