Matthew Adams (American Football)
Matthew Adams (born December 12, 1995) is an American football linebacker for the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Houston. College career Adams played four seasons for Houston. He led the Cougars with 82 tackles in 2016 and finished second with 88 in 2017. In his college career, he posted 259 tackles, 21 tackles for loss, and 7.5 sacks. Professional career Indianapolis Colts Adams was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the seventh round (221st overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft. Adams made an appearance in two postseason games, registering one tackle and one special teams stop. On September 26, 2020, Adams was placed on injured reserve with an ankle injury. He was activated on November 7, 2020. He was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list by the team on November 11, and activated on November 16. Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and the defensive linemen. They are the "middle ground" of defenders, playing closer to the line of scrimmage than the defensive backs (secondary), but farther back than the defensive linemen. Nick Dzubnar
Nicholas David Dzubnar (born August 15, 1991) is an American football linebacker who is a free agent. He played college football at Cal Poly. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the San Diego Chargers in 2015 and also played for the Tennessee Titans. Early life Dzubnar was born in Anaheim, California, where he attended Mission Viejo High School. While at Mission Viejo, he played football, wrestling, and club hockey. In high school, he was a football team captain, senior class president, and led the Diablos to their first league title since 1972. Dzubnar was not a highly touted recruit, and was only pursued by UNLV, New Hampshire, and Cal Poly. On National Signing Day 2010, Dzubnar committed to Cal Poly, where his father also attended. The 2020 season was the Tennessee Titans' 51st in the National Football League (NFL), their 61st overall, their 24th in the state of Tennessee, and their third under head coach Mike Vrabel.
