Matta River (Virginia)
The Matta (russian: Матта; sah, Маатта) is a river in the Sakha Republic, Russia. It is a left tributary of the Sinyaya (Lena), Sinyaya. It is long, and has a drainage basin of . Course The river begins in the southern area of the Lena Plateau. It flows roughly northeastwards across Gorny District and there are about 300 lakes in its basin. The town of Berdigestyakh, Gorny District, is located by the river. Lena Plateau
The Lena Plateau, also known as Prilensky Plateau ( rus, Приленское плато, ''Prilenskoye Plato''; sah, Өлүөнэтээҕи хаптал хайалаах сир), is one of the great plateaus of Siberia. Administratively it is mostly within the Sakha Republic (Yakutia), with a small sector in the Irkutsk Oblast, Far Eastern Federal District, Russia.
