Matt Jobson
Matt Jobson (born 1 October 1980) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 2000s, as a . Early years Jobson was born in Maitland, New South Wales, Australia. He was a South Newcastle junior and later joined the Newcastle Knights. He made his first grade début in 2001, appearing off the interchange bench in Round 15 against the Sydney Roosters. Having won the 2001 NRL Premiership, the Knights traveled to England to play the 2002 World Club Challenge against the Super League champions, the Bradford Bulls. Jobson played from the interchange bench in the Knights' loss. He went on to play in twenty four games for the Knights over the next three years. Searching for a Start In 2004 he joined the New Zealand Warriors, hoping for more game time. However he only managed to play two games for the club and instead spent most of the season playing for the Eastern Tornadoes in the Bartercard Cup. The Brisbane Tigers are a rugby league club based at Langlands Park, in the suburb of Coorparoo in Brisbane, Australia. Since 1996, they have competed in the Queensland Cup, having competed in the Brisbane Rugby League from 1934 to 1997, where they won eight premierships. The Newcastle Rugby League is a local rugby league football competition in Newcastle, Australia. It is one of the oldest rugby league competitions in Australia, founded in 1910. A Newcastle representative team was also assembled from players in the League during most of the 20th century. The first grade competition also comprises the NSWRL Presidents Cup Northern Conference.
