Matt Haryasz
Matt Haryasz (born March 20, 1984) is a former American professional basketball player. Standing at 2.10 m (6 ft 11 in), Haryasz usually played as a center. High school career Born in Page, Arizona, Haryasz played high school basketball for Page High School, and averaged 25 points, 12 rebounds and 6 blocks for the team. College career Haryasz played four years for the Stanford Cardinal men's basketball team. In his last year, he led Cardinal in scoring (16.2 per game) and rebounding (8.2 per game). Professional career In 2006, Haryasz played two pre-season games for the Houston Rockets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was released on October 19, 2006. Afterwards he turned professional by signing in the NBA D-League with the Arkansas RimRockers. The center (C), or the centre, also known as the five or the pivot, is one of the five Basketball position, positions in a regulation basketball game. The center is normally the tallest player on the team, and often has a great deal of strength and body mass as well. In the NBA, the center is typically close to tall. List Of All-Pacific-12 Conference Men's Basketball Teams
The All-Pac-12 men's basketball team is an annual Pac-12 Conference honor bestowed on the best players in the conference following every college basketball season. Pac-12 coaches select a 10-player first team and a five-player second team. There were two five-man teams from 1956 though 1979, followed by one 10-man first team from 1980 through 2008. For one year in 2008, there were three five-man teams selected. During the final week of the regular season, Pac-12 coaches nominate up to three players from their team to be placed on the ballot for consideration. Coaches submit their votes by the Sunday after the season ends and cannot vote for their own players. Previously, a player needed to be selected on 50 percent of the ballots to be on the team. NBA D-League
The NBA G League, or simply the G League, is the National Basketball Association's (NBA) official minor league basketball organization. The league was known as the National Basketball Development League (NBDL) from 2001 to 2005, and the NBA Development League (NBA D-League) from 2005 until 2017. The league started with eight teams until NBA commissioner David Stern announced a plan to expand the NBA D-League to 15 teams and develop it into a true minor league farm system, with each NBA D-League team affiliated with one or more NBA teams in March 2005. At the conclusion of the 2013–14 NBA season, 33% of NBA players had spent time in the NBA D-League, up from 23% in 2011. The Houston Rockets are an American professional basketball team based in Houston. The Rockets compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member team of the league's Western Conference Southwest Division.
