Matt Fondy
Matthew Ryan Fondy (born July 28, 1989) is an American soccer player who currently plays for Inter San Francisco in the San Francisco Soccer Football League. Career College and amateur Fondy attended Burlingame High School and played four years of college soccer at the University of California Santa Cruz, where he was a 2009 NSCAA Division III All-American - Third Team Professional Though undrafted out of college, Fondy turned professional in 2011 when he signed with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds of the USL Pro league, and made his professional debut on April 9, 2011 in a game against Richmond Kickers. He scored his first professional goal on May 21, 2011 in a 2–0 win against F.C. New York. Fondy signed with Los Angeles Blues of USL Pro on January 13, 2012. Foster City is a city located in San Mateo County, California. The 2020 census put the population at 33,805, an increase of more than 10% over the 2010 census figure of 30,567. Burlingame High School is a public high school in Burlingame, California. It is part of the San Mateo Union High School District (SMUHSD). History In order to meet the growing student population, the school was opened in December 1923 under the name "San Mateo High School, Burlingame Branch." Designed by architect W. H. Weeks, the school took in students from Burlingame, Hillsborough, Millbrae, and San Bruno. Initial enrollment consisted of 350 students and 30 teachers. As a branch of San Mateo High School, extracurricular organizations were shared between the schools. There was a single band, football team, and other athletic teams with student members from both schools. Within 10 years the enrollment of the school increased to 494 boys and 474 girls, totaling 968 pupils, a figure close to the school's original design capacity. Guy Abend
Guy Abend ( he, גיא אבנד; born 8 November 1990) is an Israeli footballer. Early life Personal Abend was born in Netanya, Israel to parents Arie and Tali and has both an older brother and sister. Before his first birthday he and his family would move to Washington, D.C. where he would spend the next six years of his life. While in Washington he would play soccer at the Jewish Community Center and he would take his love of the sport back to Israel when he was six. He continued to play soccer with local teams in Netanya. In 2022, Abend represented the United States in futsal at the 2022 Maccabiah Games, alongside former Louisville City teammate Matthew Fondy. The 2022 Maccabiah Games ( he, משחקי המכביה 2022) took place in Israel from July 14–25, 2022, and are also referred to as the 21st Maccabiah Games ( he, המכביה ה-21). The Maccabiah Games are open to Jewish athletes from around the world, and to all Israeli citizens regardless of their religion. 2015 USL Season
The 2015 USL season was the fifth season of the United Soccer League (USL) and the first under its new name (previously the league was called USL Pro). This season represented a substantial expansion from 14 teams in 2014 to 24 teams in 2015, and the division of the league into two conferences. It is also the 29th season of third-division soccer in the United States. Seven Major League Soccer clubs created reserve franchises in the USL for the 2015 season, following the lead of the LA Galaxy, who had done so in 2014: FC Montreal, New York Red Bulls II, Portland Timbers 2, Real Monarchs, Seattle Sounders FC 2, Toronto FC II, and Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2. FC Tulsa is an American professional soccer team based in Tulsa, Oklahoma which competes in the USL Championship, the second tier of the American soccer pyramid. History The club was founded as Tulsa Roughnecks FC by Jeff and Dale Hubbard, brothers and co-owners of the Tulsa Drillers minor league baseball franchise. Richmond Kickers is an American professional soccer club based in Richmond, Virginia. The Kickers compete as a member of USL League One (USL-1). The club was established in 1993, and began play that same year as a United States Interregional Soccer League (now USL League Two) expansion team, which at the time, was the fourth tier of soccer in the United States. The club's majority owner is 22 Holdings, LLC, and its minority owners are Richmond Kickers Youth Soccer Club and the Ukrop family, a prominent family from the Greater Richmond Region who founded the Ukrop's grocery chain.
