Matt Brown (basketball)
Matthew Scott Brown (born December 15, 1969) is an American college basketball coach and the current head men's basketball coach at the State Fair Community College. He was the former head coach at University of Missouri-Kansas City from 2007 to 2013. Before becoming the head coach at UMKC, Brown was a member of John Beilein's staff for 10 years, five years at Richmond and five years at West Virginia. He was fired as head coach of UMKC on March 12, 2013, after posting a 64–122 record in six seasons. From August 2015 to March 2016, Brown served as coach of the Northland Christian School. He was the head coach of Wentworth Military Academy Wentworth Military Academy and College was a private two-year military college and high school in Lexington, Missouri. Northern Kentucky Norse Men's Basketball
The Northern Kentucky Norse men's basketball team represents Northern Kentucky University in Highland Heights, Kentucky, United States. The school's athletic program began a transition to NCAA Division I in the 2012–13 school year. For the first three seasons of the transition (through 2014–15), it was a member of the Atlantic Sun Conference. In the final season of the transition in 2015–16, the Norse joined the Horizon League. The Norse were coached by John Brannen until April 14, 2019 when he left to take a job with the University of Cincinnati Bearcats. Before him the Norse program's coach was Dave Bezold, who had an overall record of 138 wins and 72 losses. On April 23, 2019 Darrin Horn was hired as head coach by Northern Kentucky. Shippensburg is a borough in Cumberland and Franklin counties in the U.S. Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. 2012–13 UMKC Kangaroos Men's Basketball Team
The 2012–13 UMKC Kangaroos men's basketball team represented the University of Missouri–Kansas City during the 2012–13 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Kangaroos, led by sixth year head coach Matt Brown, played their home games at the Swinney Recreation Center, with one home game at the Municipal Auditorium, and were members of The Summit League. They finished the season 8–24, 5–11 in The Summit League play to finish in a tie for seventh place. They lost in the quarterfinals of The Summit League tournament to North Dakota State. Following the season, head coach Matt Brown was fired after posting a record of 64–122 in six seasons.
