Japanese Festivals
Japanese festivals are traditional festive occasions often celebrated with dance and music in Japan. Many festivals have their roots in traditional Chinese festivals, but have undergone extensive changes over time to have little resemblance to their original form, despite sharing the same name and date. There are also various local festivals (e.g. Tobata Gion) that are mostly unknown outside a given prefecture. Unlike most people in East Asia, Japanese people generally do not celebrate the Lunar New Year, its observance having been supplanted by the Western New Year's Day on January 1 in the late 19th century (see Japanese New Year); however, many continue to observe several of its cultural practices. The Idolmaster Million Live!
is a Japan, Japanese multimedia spin-off (media), spin-off series of ''The Idolmaster'', starting with the game of the same name. The series follows a new group of idols working alongside the idols of 765 Productions with a producer at the 765 Theater Agency. The original game is a Japanese idol raising simulation video game developed and managed by Bandai Namco Entertainment released on the GREE social network platform February 27, 2013 for Android (platform), Android and iOS platforms and for feature phones. A rhythm game titled ''Idolmaster Million Live! Theater Days'' was released on June 29, 2017. Matsuricon
Matsuricon is a three-day anime convention held during August in Columbus, Ohio, at the Hyatt Regency Columbus and Greater Columbus Convention Center. The convention is family friendly. Programming The convention typically offers an artist alley, cosplay contest, dealers room, formal ball, gaming (arcade, board, video), karaoke, masquerade, and a video contest. The Carolina Manga Library provided the conventions manga library in 2014. Matsuricon's 2014 charity fundraisers raised $13,916 and benefited Pelotonia. History In 2012 the convention hosted the Distant Worlds concert, led by Arnie Roth. The concert was followed up with a meet and greet event with composer Nobuo Uematsu for VIP ticket holders. Higurashi Matsuri
is a Japanese murder mystery dōjin soft visual novel series produced by 07th Expansion that comprises the first two entries of the ''When They Cry'' franchise. The series focuses on a group of young friends living in the fictional village of Hinamizawa and the strange events that occur there in 1983. The games are built on the NScripter game engine and the Microsoft Windows operating system. The first game in the series, ''Onikakushi-hen'', was released on August 10, 2002, and the eighth and final game in the original PC series, ''Matsuribayashi-hen'', was released on August 13, 2006. Matsuri (also known as Matsurdi, Matšuri, Belohvostovo and Piiroja) is a village in Setomaa Parish, Võru County, in southeastern Estonia, on the border with Russia. (retrieved 28 July 2021) The Tartu–Pechory, Valga–Pechory railways and Karisilla–Pechory road (nr. 63) all pass Matsuri and cross the border in neighbouring Koidula. Her self-portrait is usually a kappa, sometimes with braids or an odango hairstyle.
