Matsumae Akihiro
was the ninth ''daimyō'' of Matsumae Domain in Ezo-chi, Japan, in the latter half of the Edo period. He held this position from 1792 to 1807 and again from 1821 until his death in 1833; in the years between, the ''bakufu'' exerted direct control over the whole of Ezo, while the Matsumae clan were relocated to Yanagawa Domain. is a Japanese video game music composer. She previously worked for Capcom in the 1980s, writing music for games such as ''Dynasty Wars'', ''Mercs'', ''Magic Sword'', and the original ''Mega Man''. Career She previously worked for Capcom, where she worked on titles such as '' SonSon II'', ''Dynasty Wars'', ''U.N. Squadron'', ''Mercs'', ''Magic Sword'', and ''Carrier Air Wing''. Shigeyoshi Matsumae
was a Japanese electrical engineer, inventor of the non-loaded cable carrier system, the Minister of the Ministry of Communications (Teishin-in, between August 30, 1945 and April 8, 1946), politician and the founder of Tokai University. He is also known as a patron of Yasuhiro Yamashita, a judo champion from Tokai University. Life He was born in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan and graduated from Tohoku Imperial University in 1925. Matsumae Takahiro
was a Japanese daimyō of the Edo period, who ruled the Matsumae Domain. Though he was a tozama daimyō, he served in the Tokugawa Shogunate as a rōjū. His court title was '' Izu no kami''. Youth Takahiro, whose childhood name was Tamekichi, was born at Matsumae Castle in Ezo. He was the 6th son of Matsumae Akihiro, the 9th lord of Matsumae. At age 4, he was sent to the family estate in Edo. In an act most unusual for a daimyō's son, his education included the study of the English language. He succeeded to lordship of Matsumae in 1849. Rise to Power as Rōjū Takahiro was appointed as rōjū in November 1864; this was a post that was unheard of for a tozama daimyō. Kakizaki Yoshihiro, later , was the first ''daimyō'' of Matsumae Domain in Ezo, (Hokkaidō), Japan.
