Mats Engman
Major General Mats Erik Engman (born 13 April 1954) is a retired officer in the Swedish Air Force. Engman has served as Deputy Director of Military Intelligence & Security, as Deputy Chief of Policy and Plans Department and as head of the Swedish delegation to the Neutral Nations Supervisory Commission (NNSC) in Korea. Career Military career Engman was commissioned as an officer in the Swedish Air Force in 1976 and was assigned to Bråvalla Wing with the rank of second lieutenant. He was promoted to lieutenant the same year. Engman was promoted to captain in 1970 and then served at Västmanland Wing. From 1983 to 1984, he served as a military observer for the United Nations Truce Supervision Organization (UNTSO) in Tiberias, Israel and Cairo, Egypt. Engman was promoted to major in 1984 and then attended the Swedish Armed Forces Staff College from 1984 to 1986. Eskilstuna () is a city and the seat of Eskilstuna Municipality, Södermanland County, Sweden. The city of Eskilstuna had 67,359 inhabitants in 2015, with a total population of 100,092 inhabitants in Eskilstuna municipality (2014). Eskilstuna has a large Sweden Finn population.
