Matiur Rahman Chowdhury
Matiur Rahman Chowdhury is a Bangladeshi journalist, editor and talk-show host. He is the editor-in-chief of the ''Manab Zamin'', a Bengali language tabloid newspaper. Chowdhury also reports for ''Voice of America'' (Bangla) as a correspondent. He has hosted a late night chat-show, Ajker Sangbadpatra, on Channel i, a privately owned broadcast channel, since 2005. He also hosted another political chat-show, called ''Frontline'', on Banglavision, before it was suspended citing "technical problems". However, several journalists including Chowdhury claimed that authorities were behind the closure. Chowdhury serves as treasurer of the Newspaper Owners' Association of Bangladesh (NOAB) and a member of Editors' Council, an organisation of newspaper editors in the country. Mehzeb Rahman Chowdhury is a Bangladeshi author, inventor, instructor, journalist, criminologist, criminal law barrister, social sciences researcher and filmmaker. Latifur Rahman
Latifur Rahman (1 March 1936 – 6 June 2017) was the 10th Chief Justice and the 2nd Chief Adviser of Bangladesh. Early life and education Rahman was born in Jessore on 1 March 1936. His father was the lawyer Khan Bahadur Lutfur Rahman. His maternal uncle Nurul Huda served as a High Court judge. He earned his master's in English literature at the University of Dhaka in 1956 and later completed his bachelor's in law from the same university. He served as a faculty member of Shahid Suhrawardy College. Career Rahman started his lawyer career with the Dhaka High Court membership in 1960. Morshed Khan (born 8 August 1940) is a Bangladeshi politician who served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh from 2001 until 2006. He served as a Jatiya Sangsad member representing the Chittagong-10 constituency in the 6th, 7th and 8th parliaments. Khan was imprisoned in May 2009 in connection with a graft case in which he was sentenced to 13 years.
