He was elected to the Norwegian Parliament in 1907, representing the Liberal Party and the constituency of Toten. The Liberal Party ( no, Venstre, lit=Left, V; se, Gurutbellodat) is a centrist political party in Norway. It was founded in 1884 and it is the oldest political party in Norway. The Free-minded Liberal Party ( no, Frisinnede Venstre) was a political party in Norway founded in 1909 by the conservative-liberal faction of the Liberal Party. The party cooperated closely with the Conservative Party and participated in several short-lived governments, including two headed by Free-minded Prime Ministers. In the 1930s the party changed its name to the Free-minded People's Party ( no, Frisinnede Folkeparti) and initiated cooperation with nationalist groups. The Storting ( no, Stortinget ) (lit. the Great Thing) is the supreme legislature of Norway, established in 1814 by the Constitution of Norway. It is located in Oslo. The unicameral parliament has 169 members and is elected every four years based on party-list proportional representation in nineteen multi-seat constituencies. Toten
Toten is a traditional district in Innlandet county in the eastern part of Norway. It consists of the municipalities Østre Toten and Vestre Toten. The combined population of Toten is approximately 27,000. The largest town is Raufoss with approximately 6,000 inhabitants. In the mostly rural municipality of Østre Toten, Lena is the biggest settlement with approximately 1100 inhabitants. Agriculture is an integral aspect of the economy of Toten. The agricultural focus lies mostly in Østre Toten, whereas Vestre Toten is a center for industry. In Toten, large forest areas can be found. Lars Kristiansen Blilie (5 April 1820 – 17 December 1892) was a Norwegian farmer and politician for the Liberal Party. He worked as a farmer in the traditional region of Toten in Oppland, Norway. He was also involved in local politics, serving as mayor of Vestre Toten from 1866 to 1871. He was elected to the Norwegian Parliament in 1871, representing the constituency of Kristians Amt. Eina
Eina is a village in Vestre Toten Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The village is located along the Gjøvikbanen railway line, between the villages of Jaren and Raufoss. The village of Eina is located south of the municipal centre of Raufoss, on the north shore of the lake Einavatnet. The river Hunnselva runs north through the village from the lake Einavatnet to the large lake Mjøsa. The village has a population (2021) of 704 and a population density of . About 1,500 people inhabit the rural area surrounding the lake, outside of the village of Eina.
