Matheus Gonçalves Savio (born 15 April 1997) is a Brazilian Association football, footballer who plays as an Midfielder (association football)#Attacking midfielder, attacking midfielder or a Midfielder (association football)#Winger, winger for J1 League club Kashiwa Reysol. Career Flamengo Matheus debuted in the professional team on 25 March 2015, as a substitute, in a Campeonato Carioca, Rio de Janeiro State League match against Bangu Atlético Clube, Bangu. Flamengo won 2-1. Later in the same year he had his first Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, Brazilian Série A appearance on 14 October 2015 against Figueirense FC, Figueirense. Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, Flamengo lost 3-0 and Matheus played only seven minutes, again as substitute. The 2017 Rio de Janeiro Soccer Tournament was the 114th edition of the top tier football of FFERJ (Federação de Futebol do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, or Rio de Janeiro State Football Federation). The top four teams competed in the 2017 Brazilian Football Cup. Unlike previous editions of the Tournament, there was a preliminary stage played by the bottom four teams from the previous edition, and the top two teams from the latest edition of ''Série B'' (second tier), totaling six teams.
