Matheus Reis de Lima (born 18 February 1995), known as Matheus Reis, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a left-back or centre-back for Sporting CP. Club career São Paulo Reis is a youth product of the Brazilian League, São Paulo, he joined at the age of 12. Loan to Sorocaba On 2 January 2014, he joined Sorocaba on a season long loan. Back at São Paulo He made his professional debut with São Paulo on 7 February 2015 in a 2–1 Série A loss to Athletico Paranaense. Sporting Clube de Portugal, founded Sporting Club de Portugal (), otherwise referred to as Sporting CP, often known abroad as Sporting Lisbon , is a Portuguese professional sports club based in Lisbon. The 2020–21 season was the 115th season in existence of Sporting Clube de Portugal and the club's 87th consecutive season in the top flight of Portuguese football. In addition to the domestic league, Sporting CP participated in this season's editions of the Taça de Portugal and the UEFA Europa League. The 2019–20 Primeira Liga (also known as Liga NOS for sponsorship reasons) was the 86th season of the Primeira Liga, the top professional league for Portuguese association football clubs. The Primeira Liga (; English: Premier League, also written as Liga Portugal 1), also known as Liga Portugal Bwin for sponsorship reasons, is the top level of the Portuguese football league system. Organised and supervised by the Liga Portugal, it is contested by 18 teams since the 2014–15 season, with the three lowest placed teams relegated to the Liga Portugal 2 and replaced by the top-three non-reserve teams from this division. The 2017–18 Primeira Liga (also known as Liga NOS for sponsorship reasons) was the 84th season of the Primeira Liga, the top professional league for Portuguese association football clubs. Benfica were the defending champions for a fourth consecutive time, but they did not retain the title. Porto became the new champions with two matches to spare, clinching their 28th league title. This was their first trophy in four years. Copa do Nordeste (''Cup of the North-East''), also known as Campeonato do Nordeste (''Championship of the North-East'') or Copa Nordeste (''Northeastern Cup''), and sometimes informally referred as Lampions League – in reference to the UEFA Champions League and bandit Lampião, is a Brazilian football competition among Northeastern region teams.
