Mateo Blanco (born 1981, Miami) is an American 2D and 3D artist. Blanco uses non-conventional items to create art. Many of Mateo's creations are acquired by Ripley's Believe It or Not!, Ripley's Believe It or Not. The Boca Raton Museum of Art and The Museum of Art - DeLand is home to some of the world's most iconic pieces of art by Mateo Blanco .Mateo lives in Orlando, Florida and is also an American tenor. He recorded an album titled Mateo Blanco 7:24. Early life and education Mateo Blanco commenced his formal training under the supervision of Débora Arango in Medellin, Colombia. He studied with Arturo Estrada Hernández , Jesusita Vallejo de Mora and Lola Vélez. Further, Mateo studied Goldsmithing and Jewelry in Medellín, Medellin, Colombia and studied commercial music at Florida Atlantic University. Débora Arango Pérez (November 11, 1907 – December 4, 2005) was a Colombian artist, born in Medellín, Colombia as the daughter of Castor María Arango Díaz and Elvira Pérez. Though she was primarily a painter, Arango also worked in other media, such as ceramics and graphic art. Throughout her career, Arango used her artwork to explore many politically charged and controversial issues, her subjects ranging from nude women to the role of the Roman Catholic Church to dictatorships. Personal life First years (1907-1930) She was born on November 11, 1907 in the city of Medellín, Antioquia, daughter of the couple formed by the merchant María Arango Díaz and Elvira Pérez. She was the seventh of 11 siblings in a high class family.
