Matan Naor
Matan Naor ( he, מתן נאור; born 3 November 1980) is an Israeli former basketball player. Professional career Naor increased Maccabi's youth department Rehovot. He started playing in the Premier League graduates Ramat Gan in 2000. 2001 was a breakthrough season of Naor, which is a partner in 28 games trained under Arik Shivek, and showed good ability and diverse. Hapoel ( he, הפועל, lit. ''the worker'') is an Israeli Jewish sports association established in 1926 by the Histadrut Labor Federation. History During the British Mandate of Palestine period Hapoel had a bitter rivalry with Maccabi and organized its own competitions, with the exception of football, the only sport in which all the organizations played each other. Erez Edelstein (born August 23, 1961) is an Israeli basketball coach. Coaching career In 2014, Edelstein was hired as a head coach of the Israel national basketball team. On June 9, 2016, Edelstein was announced as the new head coach of Maccabi Tel Aviv. On October 22, 2016, he parted ways with the club. Liga Leumit ( he, ליגה לאומית, lit. ''National League'') is the second tier level league of basketball competition in Israel. It is the league level that is below the first tier Israeli Basketball Premier League, Israeli Premier League. Arik Shivek ( he, אריק שיבק) is an Israeli professional basketball head coach. Shivek is the former head coach of the senior Israeli national basketball team, serving from 2009 to 2014, succeeding Zvi Sherf. Coaching career Shivek started coaching in 1983, with Maccabi Netanya, and later moved to clubs such as Maccabi Ra’anana, Maccabi Ramat Gan, and Hapoel Tel Aviv. Coach Shivek is known for his calm and composed behaviour on and off the court.
