Halifax Township is a township in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 3,336 at the 2020 census. History Halifax Township takes its name from Fort Halifax on the Susquehanna River. The Clemson Island Prehistoric District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1981. The Legislative Route 1 Sycamore Allee was listed in 2007.
