Mastorochoria ( el, Μαστοροχώρια) is a former municipality in the Ioannina regional unit, Epirus, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Konitsa, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 271.160 km2. Population 930 (2011). The seat of the municipality was in Pyrsogianni. Pyrsogianni
Pyrsogianni ( el, Πυρσόγιαννη) is a village in the Ioannina regional unit, northern Greece. It is situated on a mountain slope on the right bank of the river Sarantaporos. It is in the municipal unit of Mastorochoria, and it was the seat of the former municipality Mastorochoria. In 2011 its population was 119. The Greek National Road 20 ( Ioannina - Konitsa - Kozani) passes east of the village. It is 4 km northwest of Kastaniani, 20 km northeast of Konitsa and 60 km north of Ioannina. Konitsa
Konitsa ( el, Κόνιτσα; see also names in other languages) is a town of Ioannina in Epirus, Greece. It is located north of the capital Ioannina and near the Albanian border. Northeast of Konitsa lies a group of villages known as the Zagorochoria. The town was built amphitheatrically-shaped on a mountain slope of the Pindos mountain range from where it overlooks the valley where the river Aoos meets the river Voidomatis. Konitsa acts as a regional hub for several small villages of Pindos, and features many shops, schools and a general hospital. Plikati ( el, Πληκάτι, al, Plikat, rup, Plikati) is a village in the municipal unit of Mastorochoria, Ioannina regional unit, Greece. It is one of the northernmost villages in Epirus. In 2011 its population was 70. The village is situated at the foot of the Grammos mountains, at 1,240 m elevation, close to the Albanian border. Plikati is 3 km north of Gorgopotamos, 8 km west of Aetomilitsa, 9 km southeast of Ersekë (Albania) and 28 km north of Konitsa. Gorgopotamos ( el, Γοργοπόταμος) is a small village located at the foot of Mount Grammos of Epirus (Greece). It is surrounded by forest and the small river of Gorgopotamos runs right next to it. Gorgopotamos is part of the municipal unit of Mastorochoria of Ioannina regional unit, North-West Greece. Its location is very close to the Greek-Albanian borders. In 2011 it had a population of 29.
