Carl Maston
Carl L. Maston (born Carl Mastopietro, June 17, 1915 – May 31, 1992) was an influential Los Angeles mid-century modern architect. __TOC__ Biography Maston was born to an Italian father and English mother. Ultimately choosing the architectural profession over a career in music, Maston designed more than 100 buildings, including private residences, apartment buildings, shopping centers and large-scale institutional projects. Upon graduating from the University of Southern California he worked for the offices of Floyd Rible, A. Quincy Jones, Fred Emmons, Phil Daniel, and Allied Architects. After serving in World War II, Maston returned to Los Angeles and opened his first office in Beverly Hills. In 1946, he was commissioned to build the Pandora Apartments, marking the beginning of his experimentation with gardenapartment design. June Maston
June Elaine Rita Maston (later Ferguson; 14 March 1928 – 3 December 2004) was an Australian sprinter and athletics coach from New South Wales. In 1948 she placed fourth in the Australian national championships over 100 yards. At the 1948 Summer Olympics in London she won a silver medal in 4 x 100 metres relay with teammates Shirley Strickland, Joyce King and Elizabeth McKinnon. She had earlier competed in the women's long jump event, but did not qualify for the final. At the Olympics she met her future husband, water polo player Jack Ferguson. Later, she became an athletics coach. Le'Shai Maston
Le'Shai Edwoin Maston (born October 7, 1970) is a former American football running back in the National Football League and current head football coach at Providence Christian School of Dallas, Texas. He played college football at Baylor University. From 1993 to 1998, Maston played for the NFL teams Houston Oilers, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Washington Redskins. Maston graduated from David W. Carter High School of Dallas in 1989 and was a member of the Carter 1988 Texas state championship football team, that later had to forfeit the championship due to eligibility reasons. He then attended Baylor University and played on the Baylor Bears football team from 1989 to 1992. In 1995, Maston graduated with a degree in business management. Maston is a member of the Omega Psi Phi fraternity. Mercy Maston
Mercy Maston (born November 10, 1992) is an American former professional football defensive back. Playing career Maston started his CFL career with the Edmonton Eskimos but was limited in playing time due to an Achilles injury. Following two years with the Eskimos, Mercy was released in January 2019 and signed a futures contract with the Philadelphia Eagles, but was cut before playing an NFL game. Following injuries to Brandon Alexander and Marcus Rios, the Blue Bombers needed help in the secondary and signed Maston in August 2019. Maston helped the Blue Bombers win the 107th Grey Cup, defeating the Hamilton Tiger-Cats 33–12. Following the win, he signed an extension with Winnipeg through to the end of the 2020 season. After the CFL canceled the 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he chose to opt-out of his contract with the Blue Bombers on August 31, 2020.
