Master of Corporate Communication (MCC), or Master of Science in Corporate Communication (MSc.CC), is a post-graduate master's degree designed to prepare communication professionals who in time will function as Corporate Communication Officer (CCO) at a strategic level in the organization. The MCC program structure and admissions are similar to that of the Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Management degrees. The equivalent of MCC at some universities is Master's in Communication, Master (of Arts) in Public Relations, Master (of Science) in Communication Management. Executive Master's Degree
An executive master's degree, also known as a Master of Advanced Studies (MAS), is an advanced level of master's degree designed specially for mid-career executive professionals. Structure Executive master's degree programs are usually attended by full-time working professionals, therefore the programs are scheduled to match this condition. Most programs run several full days (not more than a week) per month for the period of two or three years. However, some options have similarly adapted schedules, offering classes nights or weekends only. The most condensed of such programs can be completed in as little as a year. European Credit Transfer And Accumulation System
The European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) is a standard means for comparing academic credits, i.e., the "volume of learning based on the defined learning outcomes and their associated workload" for higher education across the European Union and other collaborating European countries. For successfully completed studies, ECTS credits are awarded. One academic year corresponds to 60 ECTS credits that are normally equivalent to 1500–1800 hours of total workload, irrespective of standard or qualification type. ECTS credits are used to facilitate transfer and progression throughout the Union. Cornelis Bernardus Maria (Cees) van Riel (born 15 June 1951) is a Dutch organizational theorist, consultant, and Professor of Corporate Communication at Rotterdam School of Management and Director of the Corporate Communication Centre at the Erasmus University, known for his work in the area of corporate communication and reputation management.
