Bill Hale
Bill Hale (1915-2007) was an Australian rugby league footballer who played in the 1930s and 1940s. Hale was a big front row forward who played at St. George with his younger brother Jim Hale. His career was interrupted when he was moved around N.S.W. due to his employment in the Police Force. Bill Hale played two seasons of first grade: 1936 and 1940, although he did feature in the lower grades in 1939. He later became the captain/coach of Nowra before retiring from Rugby League. Steven Ritch (26 December 1921 – 20 July 1995) was an American actor, perhaps best known for his lead role in the 1956 film '' The Werewolf''. Early life Steven Ritch was born on December 26, 1921, in Providence, Rhode Island. Career Ritch's career ran from 1950 to 1962, and he had 45 acting credits in films and television. He also worked as a screenwriter in feature films and television. He wrote the screenplay for the 1957 film '' Plunder Road'', as well as acting in the movie, delivering a "stand-out performance as a nervous wheelman", according to '' CinemaScope''. John Thomas Berger (October 22, 1923 – June 30, 2004) was an American film and television actor. Mel Welles (February 17, 1924 – August 19, 2005) was an American film actor and director. His best-remembered role may be that of hapless flower shop owner Gravis Mushnick in the 1960 low-budget Roger Corman dark comedy, ''The Little Shop of Horrors''. Life and career Welles was born Ira W. Meltcher in the Bronx, New York City, son of Max and Sally Grichewsky Meltcher. He was raised in Mount Carmel, Pennsylvania and graduated from Mt. Carmel High School, in 1940. He went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts degree from Penn State University, a Master of Arts degree from West Virginia University, and a Ph.D. in psychology from Columbia University. Ralph Dumke
Ralph Ernest Dumke (July 25, 1899 – January 4, 1964) was an American comedian and actor who had an active career from the early 1920s up until his death in 1964. He rose to fame as part of a comedy duo with Ed East, performing nationally in vaudeville on the B. F. Keith Circuit from 1922-1932 and then headlining the nationally popular daily afternoon radio program "Sisters of the Skillet" on NBC Radio. In the 1940s Dumke worked as a character actor in Broadway musicals, and from 1949-1964 he worked in American film and television. Biography Dumke was born in South Bend, Indiana.
