''Masks'' is the fifth studio album by American metalcore band Eyes Set to Kill. The album was released on September 17, 2013. It is their first album to be released under Century Media Records. It is also their last album to feature screamer and guitarist Cisko Miranda. Music and lyrics Phil Freeman of ''Alternative Press'' wrote that "Eyes Set to Kill go an overtly metal, even nü-metal direction." In addition, Freeman wrote that "Their riffs are fierce and heavy, laid over powerful grooves, but it's the vocal melodies that pack the most punch." Eyes Set To Kill
Eyes Set to Kill is an American post-hardcore band from Tempe, Arizona. The Rodriguez sisters, lead guitarist Alexia and bassist Anissa, along with vocalist Lindsey Vogt started the band in 2003. Lindsey Vogt departed the band in mid-2007 due to issues with management. Lindsey would go on to form a solo project known as "The Taro Sound", and eventually form the band "The Attraction." Metalcore (also known as metallic hardcore) is a fusion music genre that combines elements of extreme metal and hardcore punk.
