''The Masked Gang'' ( tr, Maskeli Beşler İntikam Peşinde) is a 2005 Turkish comedy film directed by Murat Aslan. The film, which is about an incompetent gang of criminals attempting the biggest robbery of their careers, is based on ''Maskeli Beşler'' (1968) and was followed by '' The Masked Gang: Iraq'' (2007) and '' The Masked Gang: Cyprus'' (2008). It went on general release across Turkey on and was one of the highest-grossing Turkish film of 2005. Synopsis Five mischievous kids who grew up in an orphanage, but failed to be placed with any foster families because of their naughtiness, decide to form a gang as they are adults now. Şafak Sezer
Erol Şafak Sezer (born 10 October 1970) is a Turkish actor who usually appears in comedic roles. His stage debut came in Haldun Taner's play ''Eşeğin Gölgesi'' at Ankara Halk Tiyatrosu (Ankara People's Theatre). He acted in several other plays at the same venue as well as at Ankara Ekin Tiyatrosu (Ankara Crop Theatre). In cinema, he initially appeared in supporting roles in several movies. His breakthrough came with '' Kolpaçino'' (2009) in which he starred. Şafak Sezer was found guilty of physically attacking a camera assistant for "making noise" on the set of ''Alemin Kralı'' TV series in 2012, and a 13-month prison sentence was demanded for him in December 2013. Ceyhun Yılmaz (born 5 October 1976) is a Turkish comedian, actor, radio and TV presenter. Life and career In 2002, Ceyhun Yılmaz published his first poetry book; in the same year, he left school and his TV and radio positions to join the army. After spending 4 months in Van, Turkey, he toured all of the provinces, doing 107 stand-up shows for the troops and high ranking officials.
