Mirabel, Quebec
Mirabel is a suburb of Montreal, located on the North Shore in southern Quebec. Mirabel is also the name of a territory equivalent to a regional county municipality (TE) and census division (CD) of Quebec, coextensive with the city of Mirabel. Its geographical code is 74. Route 335 is a north-south route from Montreal north into the Lanaudière region of Quebec. South of the Metropolitan highway, the 335 runs on Saint Denis Street to its southern terminus. Northwards until the Rivière des Prairies, the 335 runs on Berri Street southbound and Lajeunesse Street northbound, then it crosses the Viau Bridge to Laval. There, the 335 once traced the entire length of the Laurentian Boulevard to the David Bridge on the Rivière des Mille Îles. Now, it runs north from the bridge to Autoroute 440 on Laurentian Boulevard. The 335 runs concurrently with Autoroute 440 for about between des Laurentides and Autoroute 19. Sainte-Thérèse is an off-island suburb northwest of Montreal, in southwestern Quebec, Canada, in the Thérèse-De Blainville Regional County Municipality. The Rivière des Mille Îles (, "Thousand Islands River") is a channel of the Ottawa River in southwestern Quebec, Canada and runs into the Rivière des Prairies. It is long. It divides Île Jésus (the city of Laval) from the North Shore, the northern mainland suburbs of Montreal, such as Deux-Montagnes, Saint-Eustache, Boisbriand, Rosemère, Lorraine, Bois-des-Filion, Sainte-Thérèse, and Terrebonne. The river rises at the narrowing of the Lake of Two Mountains, where the Ottawa River widens as it feeds into the St Lawrence at Montreal, and flows west to east. It joins the Rivière des Prairies at the eastern tip of Île Jésus, which shortly thereafter joins the St. Lawrence at the eastern tip of the Island of Montreal.
