Masaladosa is a French electronic band formed in 2002. The band consists of members Pierre-Jean Duffour, Brice Duffour. Masaladosa composed music for the film ''Sita Sings the Blues''. The band has collaborated with other artists, including Anoushka Shankar and Manu Dibango. Masala Dosa, also called Masale dosey ( ಮಸಾಲೆ ದೋಸೆ ), is a South Indian dish. It is a type of dosa and has its origin in Udupi cuisine of Karnataka. Anoushka Shankar
Anoushka Shankar (born 9 June 1981) is a British-American sitar player, producer, film composer and activist. She was the youngest and first woman to receive a British House of Commons Shield; she has had 7 Grammy Awards nominations and was the first musician of Indian origin to perform live and to serve as presenter at the ceremony.
