María Lilja Þrastardóttir
María Lilja Þrastardóttir Kemp (born 1 September 1986) Is an Icelandic politician, student lawyer, journalist, author and activist. Maria founded “Slut Walk” in Iceland – a movement against sexual violence. “Slut Walk” has since 2011 grown into one of Reykjavik’s biggest events of the summer. In the past years, María mainly worked in the media world as an investigative journalist at Iceland’s largest newspaper Frettabladid. Since then she continued in the broadcast genre and became a television reporter on Islands Kanal 2 News. At the time she also had her own radio program that focused on women in the music. Maria took a break from journalism in early 2014 to serve as campaign manager for Mr. Dagur B. Eggertsson, who then became mayor of Reykjavik. Later that year, she co-founded and edited a music magazine for the Icelandic music scene called DV music. Reykjavík ( ; ) is the capital and largest city of Iceland. It is located in southwestern Iceland, on the southern shore of Faxaflói bay. Orri Páll Dýrason
Orri Páll Dýrason (; born on 4 July 1977) is an Icelandic musician. He was previously the drummer for Sigur Rós. He joined the band in 1999, shortly after the recording of the studio album '' Ágætis byrjun'', when the previous drummer, Ágúst Ævar Gunnarsson, left the band. Orri has recorded five studio albums with Sigur Rós: '' ( )'' (2002), '' Takk...'' (2005), ''Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust'' (2008), ''Valtari'' (2012), and ''Kveikur'' (2013). Sigur Rós
Sigur Rós () is an Icelandic post-rock band from Reykjavík, active since 1994. The band comprises singer and guitarist Jón Þór "Jónsi" Birgisson, bassist Georg Hólm, and keyboardist Kjartan Sveinsson. Known for their ethereal sound, frontman Jónsi's falsetto vocals, and their use of bowed guitar, Sigur Rós incorporate classical and minimal aesthetic elements.
