María Leonor Jiménez Camposano (March 28, 1939, Samborondón) is an Ecuadorian politician, lawyer and teacher who was the first female mayor of the Guayas police. Life She became president of the Provincial Court of Justice of Guayas from 2010 until 2011, when she was dismissed by the Council of the Transitional Judiciary for her criticism of the El Universo case, accusing since that justice was "manipulated" by the executive. Samborondón
Samborondón is a canton in Ecuador’s Guayas province. It has 105 localities and two urban parishes (''La Puntilla'') and Samborondón Town (Cabecera cantonal) and one rural parish (''Tarifa''). La Puntilla's parish is one of the most exclusive residential and entertainment districts in Ecuador. It has many Gated Communities (''urbanizaciones cerradas''), and several retail developments are located in the suburb. Its close proximity to the country's second-largest city, Guayaquil (merely crossing a bridge), allows many of its residents to work there. Most of the upper-class families in Guayaquil live at La Puntilla's Parish in Samborondón. History Samborondón was founded on May 24, 1776 and achieved its independence on October 10, 1820. Nathalie María Viteri Jimenez (born 6 October 1974) is a lawyer and an Ecuadorian Assemblyperson. In 2021 she joined the fourth legislative period of the National Assembly. Life Viteri was born on 6 October 1974. Her parents are José Viteri Peña and Leonor Jiménez Campuzano, and her elder sister is Cynthia Viteri. She worked in the mayor's office, and she served as an alternate councilor for Doménica Tabacchi, who became the vice mayor of Guayaquil. In March 2007, the Supreme Electoral Court dismissed 57 deputies from the National Assembly. Viteri was one of these politicians. The deputies appealed against the decision twice, and they were successful. However, their places were no longer available. Cynthia Fernanda Viteri Jiménez de Váscones (born 19 November 1965) is an Ecuadorian lawyer, journalist and politician. On March 24, 2019, she was elected Mayor of Guayaquil, the second-largest city in Ecuador, in the sectional elections of Ecuador for a term from May 14, 2019 until May 14, 2023. She was the presidential candidate for Partido Social Cristiano in the 2017 presidential elections, and was a candidate in the 2006 presidential elections of Ecuador and finished fifth.
