María José Rienda Contreras
María José Rienda Contreras (born 12 June 1975) is a former World Cup alpine ski racer. She served as the President of the Consejo Superior de Deportes and Secretary of State for Sports of Spain from June 2018 to January 2020. Biography Rienda Contreras has 6 World Cup victories, all in giant slalom. Her victories in 2005 were the first Spanish World Cup victories since Blanca Fernández Ochoa won in December 1991. María José Rienda Contreras represented Spain in five Winter Olympics. Her interest for this sport began when her father began to work on the Station of Sierra Nevada already at the age of nine she was possessing her first pair of skis. After some national success, she joined the Spanish national team at age 14. On 25 October 2003 Rienda Contreras scored her first World Cup podium, by coming third in the giant slalom in Sölden, Austria. Queralt Castellet Ibáñez (born 17 June 1989) is a Spanish snowboarder. She won a silver medal in the women's halfpipe at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. No Spanish woman had won an Olympic medal at a Winter Olympics for 30 years. She was a silver medalist at the 2015 World Championships. Life Castellet was born in Sabadell in 1989. As a teenager she competed at the 2006 Winter Olympics, and finished tenth in halfpipe at the 2007 World Snowboard Championships. The 2006 Winter Olympics, officially the XX Olympic Winter Games ( it, XX Giochi olimpici invernali) and also known as Torino 2006, were a winter multi-sport event held from 10 to 26 February 2006 in Turin, Italy. Hafjell is a village and a ski resort in Norway, in the Øyer municipality in the county of Oppland. Aspen Mountain (often called by its former name of Ajax among locals) is a ski area in the western United States, located in Pitkin County, Colorado, just outside and above the city of Aspen. Situated on the north flank of Aspen Mountain (for which it is named), its summit elevation is above sea level.
