María Isabel Urrutia
María Isabel Urrutia Ocoró (born 25 March 1965) is a former Olympic weightlifting, weightlifter, athlete and politician from Colombia. She won the first ever gold medal for Colombia at the Olympic Games, Summer Olympic Games. Athletic career Background Initially she competed in shot put and discus throw, and participated in the 1988 Summer Olympics in these events. World Games
The World Games are an international multi-sport event comprising sports and sporting disciplines that are not contested in the Olympic Games. They are usually held every four years, one year after a Summer Olympic Games, over the course of 11 days. The World Games are governed by the International World Games Association, under the patronage of the International Olympic Committee. In the most recent editions, between 25 and 34 sports have been included in the official program.
