María Aurelia Bisutti
María Aurelia Bisutti (June 20, 1930 – April 12, 2010) was an Argentine film and TV actress, with over 50 Argentine cinema and television credits between 1948 and 1993, as well as numerous roles in the theatre. Biography Born in Buenos Aires, she received her first film roles in 1948 through a radio audition hosted by a popular variety show of the time, ''Diario del cine'', and first worked with directors Benito Perojo and Carlos Schlieper. Bisutti earned her first television role in a 1960 documentary on the lives of Paul Gauguin and Edgar Degas. She was given the lead role in Pedro Escudero's '' A puerta cerrada'' (1962), and starred in period piece filmmaker Leopoldo Torre Nilsson's ''Martín Fierro'' (1968). Bisutti also became well known on the radio, starring in a number of soap operas. She received a Martín Fierro Award for lifetime achievement in 1999. Leopoldo Torre Nilsson (5 May 1924 – 8 September 1978), also known as Leo Towers and as Babsy, was an cinema of Argentina, Argentine film director, producer and screenwriter. Born as Leopoldo Torres Nilsson (he later changed his paternal surname from Torres to Torre) was the son of Argentine pioneer film director Leopoldo Torres Ríos, with whom he collaborated between 1939 and 1949. He debuted in 1947 with the short ''El muro''. His mother was an Swedish Argentine, Argentine citizen of Swedish descent. His uncle was cinematographer Carlos Torres Ríos (1898–1956). Daniel Tinayre (14 September 1910 – 24 October 1994) was a French-born Argentine film director, screenwriter and film producer notable for his work during the Golden Age of Argentine cinema, classical era of Argentine cinema (1930s–1950s) and the 1960s. Moving to Buenos Aires at a young age, Tinayre directed 23 films between 1934 and 1974, such as the 1947 thriller ''A sangre fría'' (In Cold Blood) which is starred by actors such as Amelia Bence and Tito Alonso.
