Marzocco Group
Claudio Marzocco (born 21 February 1959) is an Italian engineer and businessman. He is the chief executive officer (CEO) of Groupe Marzocco, one of the leading real estate development companies in Monaco. Education and early career In 1983, Marzocco graduated from the University of Padova with a civil engineering diploma and started working as an engineer in the construction sector in Italy. In 1988, he was kidnapped for two weeks by the Calabria-based mafia 'Ndrangheta. Claudio Marzocco managed to escape the kidnappers after 15 days of abduction. “A week later, my whole family moved to Monaco where we found security for both ourselves and our business”, he said during an interview with French magazine L’Express. Andora
Andora ( lij, Andeua), or Marina di Andora, is a town on the Italian Riviera in the region of Liguria, included in the province of Savona. Geography and climate Andora is situated in the western part of the Italian Riviera between Capo Mele in the east and Capo Mimosa in the west. This coastal area is called the Riviera delle Palme (Riviera of Palms), which is centred on Savona. To the west is the Riviera dei Fiore (Riviera of Flowers), which stretches from the French border to Cervo. Lawman (foaled 9 May 2004) is a French Thoroughbred racehorse. As a three-year-old in 2007 he won the Prix du Jockey Club and Prix Jean Prat. Since being retired to stud he has made a good start as a stallion, siring Group 1 winners Most Improved, Just The Judge and Law Enforcement. Lawman was trained by Jean-Marie Béguigné and owned by Claudio Marzocco and Ernesto Ciampi. Background Lawman is a bay horse bred by Petra Bloodstock Agency and foaled on 9 May 2004. He was sired by Invincible Spirit, a sprinter who won the Duke of York Stakes and Haydock Sprint Cup in 2002. Since retiring from racing he has become one of Ireland's leading stallions, siring Fleeting Spirit, Kingman, Mayson, Moonlight Cloud and Vale of York. Beausoleil (; oc, Bèusoleu ; ) is a commune in the Alpes-Maritimes department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in Southeastern France. It adjoins the Principality of Monaco to its south. Prix Jean Prat
The Prix Jean Prat is a Group 1 flat horse race in France open to three-year-old thoroughbred colts and fillies. It is run at Deauville over a distance of 1,400 metres (about 7 furlongs), and it is scheduled to take place each year in early July. History The event was established in 1858. It was originally the opening leg of a two-part series called the Prix Biennal. The second leg, for horses aged four or older, was first run in 1859. Both races were staged at Longchamp. The three-year-olds' division of the Prix Biennal was run over 2,000 metres. For a period it was held in April, and it served as a trial for the Prix du Jockey Club.
