Maryland Route 675 (MD 675) is a collection of state highways in the U.S. state of Maryland. These two highways are sections of old alignment of U.S. Route 13 in Maryland, U.S. Route 13 (US 13) in Princess Anne, Maryland, Princess Anne in Somerset County, Maryland, Somerset County and Delmar, Maryland, Delmar in northern Wicomico County, Maryland, Wicomico County. MD 675 was designated after US 13 bypassed Princess Anne in the late 1950s. MD 675B was assigned several years after US 13 bypassed Delmar in the mid-1950s. Maryland Route 388 (MD 388) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Maryland. Known for most of its length as West Post Office Road, the state highway runs from MD 675 in Princess Anne east to the end of state maintenance east of Princess Anne. MD 388 was constructed in the early 1930s. Route description MD 388 begins as two-lane undivided Antioch Avenue at an intersection with MD 675 (Somerset Avenue) in the center of Princess Anne. Antioch Avenue continues west two blocks as a municipal street. MD 388 heads east into farmland after crossing the Delmarva Central Railroad's Delmarva Subdivision track at-grade. The state highway's name changes to West Post Office Road after leaving the town limits of Princess Anne. Maryland Route 529 (MD 529) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Maryland. The state highway runs from MD 675 near Princess Anne north to U.S. Route 13 (US 13) near Eden in northern Somerset County. MD 529 is the old alignment of US 13. The state highway was designated from Princess Anne through Allen to Fruitland in Wicomico County when US 13 was relocated in the early 1930s. MD 529 was removed from the state highway system in segments north of its present terminus in sections in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Manokin Presbyterian Church
The Manokin Presbyterian Church is a historic church located in Princess Anne, Somerset County, Maryland. It is a -story brick structure with a three-story entrance tower on the east end. The walls of the main section were built in 1765, and the tower was added in 1888. It is one of the first organized Presbyterian Churches established in America. In 1672, a group of Scotch-Irish Presbyterians who had settled on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, petitioned the Grand Jury of Somerset County for a civil permit to hold services of worship and to have their own minister. The permission was granted, and Robert Maddox was called by the Grand Jury to preach on the third Sunday of each month, at the home of Christopher Nutter, 'at the head of the Manokin River,' the present site.
