Mary Olson
Mary A. Olson (born May 23, 1958) is a Minnesota (US) politician and a former member of the Minnesota Senate who represented District 4, which includes portions of Beltrami, Cass, Crow Wing, Hubbard , and Itasca counties in the northern part of the state. A Democrat, she was first elected in 2006. On November 2, 2010, she lost her re-election bid to the Republican John Carlson. Olson was a member of the Senate's Commerce & Consumer Protection Committee and Judiciary Committee. She also served on the Finance subcommittees for the Economic Development and Housing Budget Division and the Health and Human Services Budget Division, and on the Judiciary Judiciary Subcommittee for Data Practices, which she chaired. Olson received a B.A. from the University of North Dakota and earned a J.D. from their law school. Carrie L. Ruud ( ; born February 22, 1952) is a Minnesota politician and member of the Minnesota Senate. A member of the Republican Party of Minnesota, she represents District 10 in north-central Minnesota. Early life Ruud was born in St. Cloud, Minnesota and raised in Robbinsdale, Minnesota. The Minnesota Legislature is the bicameral legislature of the U.S. state of Minnesota consisting of two houses: the Senate and the House of Representatives. Senators are elected from 67 single-member districts. In order to account for decennial redistricting, members run for one two-year term and two four-year terms each decade. They are elected for four-year terms in years ending in 2 and 6, and for two-year terms in years ending in 0. March Air Reserve Base (March ARB), previously known as March Air Force Base (March AFB) is located in Riverside County, California between the cities of Riverside, Moreno Valley, and Perris.
