Mary Brandenburg
Mary Brandenburg (born May 12, 1949) is an American politician in the state of Florida. She was a representative in the Florida House of Representatives between 2002 and 2010. Early life Brandenburg was born on May 12, 1949, in Rochester, New York. She moved to Florida in 1957. She received her AA degree from the University of Florida in 1969 before attending Florida Atlantic University where she received her BA in 1972 and her MBA in 1980. She lives in West Palm Beach, Florida, with her husband, Pete Brandenburg. Political career Brandenburg was first elected as a representative in the Florida House of Representatives in the 2002 general election. Dissociatives, colloquially dissos, are a subclass of hallucinogens which distort perception of sight and sound and produce feelings of detachment – dissociation – from the environment and/or self. Although many kinds of drugs are capable of such action, dissociatives are unique in that they do so in such a way that they produce hallucinogenic effects, which may include dissociation, a general decrease in sensory experience, hallucinations, dream-like states or anesthesia. Salvia Divinorum
''Salvia divinorum'' (Latin: "sage of the diviners"; also called ska maría pastora, seer's sage, yerba de la pastora, magic mint or simply salvia) is a plant species with transient psychoactive properties when its leaves are consumed by chewing, smoking, or as a tea. The leaves contain opioid-like compounds that induce hallucinations. Because the plant has not been well-studied in high-quality clinical research, little is known about its toxicology, adverse effects, or safety over long-term consumption. Its native habitat is cloud forest in the isolated Sierra Mazateca of Oaxaca, Mexico, where it grows in shady, moist locations. Valdes 1987, p. 106. Irving Slosberg
Irving Slosberg (born August 26, 1947) is a former Democratic member of the Florida House of Representatives, representing the 91st District, which stretches from Boynton Beach to Boca Raton in southeastern Palm Beach County, from 2012 to 2016. Slosberg ran for state Senate twice: In 2006, when he lost a bid to the state Senate in the Democratic primary, and in 2016, when he again lost a bid to the state Senate in the Democratic primary, only earning 32% of the vote.
