Marvodol Glacier
Marvodol Glacier ( bg, ледник Мърводол, lednik Marvodol, ) is the 9.3 km long and 3.7 km wide glacier on Fallières Coast in Graham Land, Antarctica. It is situated south of Kashin Glacier, north of Forbes Glacier and east-southeast of Bucher Glacier, flows southwards between Shapkarev Buttress and Rudozem Heights, turns west at Stanhope Towers, and flows into Dogs Leg Fjord. Fallières Coast
The Fallières Coast is that portion of the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula between the head of Bourgeois Fjord and Cape Jeremy and lies on Marguerite Bay and the Wordie Ice Shelf. Graham Land
Graham Land is the portion of the Antarctic Peninsula that lies north of a line joining Cape Jeremy and Cape Agassiz. This description of Graham Land is consistent with the 1964 agreement between the British Antarctic Place-names Committee and the US Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names, in which the name "Antarctic Peninsula" was approved for the major peninsula of Antarctica, and the names Graham Land and Palmer Land for the northern and southern portions, respectively. The line dividing them is roughly 69 degrees south. Graham Land is named after Sir James R. G. Forbes Glacier (Graham Land)
Forbes Glacier is a glacier which flows from Hemimont Plateau west into the northeast corner of Square Bay, on the west coast of Graham Land, Antarctica. It is long, wide in its central part, and narrows to at its mouth. The lower reaches of the glacier were first surveyed in 1936 by the British Graham Land Expedition under John Rymill. Bucher Glacier () is a small glacier draining the west slopes of Rudozem Heights and flowing to Bourgeois Fjord just north of Bottrill Head on the German Peninsula, Fallières Coast on the west side of Graham Land, Antarctica. Rudozem Heights ( bg, Рудоземски възвишения, ‘Rudozemski Vazvisheniya’ \ru-do-'zem-ski v&z-vi-'she-ni-ya\) are the heights rising to 1504 m (Glavinitsa Peak) at the base and in the interior of German Peninsula on Fallières Coast in Graham Land, Antarctica, extending 18.5 km in northeast-southwest direction and 13.7 km in east-west direction. The heights are bounded by Bourgeois Fjord to the north and west, Dogs Leg Fjord to the south, and to the east by a glacier draining both northwards into Bourgeois Fjord and southwards into Dogs Leg Fjord.
