Marvin Tomás Ávila (born 6 December 1985) is a Guatemalan footballer who plays as a midfielder for Liga Nacional club Sololá and the Guatemala national team. Club career Nicknamed "Titi Man", Ávila made his mark in the ''2007 Clausura'' season, considered a breakthrough season for the winger, scoring six goals including a hat-trick against Deportivo Petapa. His form and quick rise for both his club and the national team were the main reasons behind his move to Guatemala's biggest club, Municipal, for the 2007-08 season. On his debut for Municipal in the 2007 ''Apertura'' against his former club, CD Suchitepéquez, he scored the winning goal, a spectacular one-time volley off a corner from Freddy García. Livingston, Guatemala
Livingston is a town, with a population of 17,923 (2018 census), in Izabal Department, eastern Guatemala, at the mouth of the Río Dulce at the Gulf of Honduras. The town serves as the municipal seat of the municipality of the same name. It was Guatemala's main port on the Caribbean Sea before the construction of nearby Puerto Barrios. Freddy Alexander García Carrera (born 12 January 1977) is a Guatemalan professional footballer currently playing for Heredia in the Guatemalan third division. He has played for several local clubs since 1997, and also in Major League Soccer for Columbus Crew, where he won the 2002 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. Also a member of the Guatemala national team, he has played in four World Cup qualifying campaigns, and is among Guatemala's all-time top scorers. Lockhart Stadium was a stadium used mostly for soccer in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States. It was used in a variety of sports, particularly soccer and American football. Originally designed in 1959 for high school sports, the stadium's long-standing soccer connection began in 1977 when it became the home venue for the original Fort Lauderdale Strikers of the original North American Soccer League (NASL). Football at the 2008 Summer Olympics was held in Beijing and several other cities in the People's Republic of China from 6 to 23 August. 2007 CONCACAF Gold Cup
The 2007 CONCACAF Gold Cup was the ninth edition of the Gold Cup, the soccer championship of North America, Central America and the Caribbean (CONCACAF), and was won by the United States over Mexico. It was contested in the United States from June 6 to 24, 2007. This competition was the third overall edition of the tournament without guests (for the first time since 1993) from other confederations.
