Marvin Sordell
Marvin Anthony Sordell (born 17 February 1991) is an English former professional footballer who played as a forward. Sordell started his career with Fulham prior to joining Watford for a two-year scholarship in 2007. He made his professional debut for the club during the 2009–10 season, and also had loan spell in League One with Tranmere Rovers the same season. After 27 goals in 81 games for Watford in two-and-a-half years, Sordell earned a £3 million move to the Premier League with Bolton Wanderers in January 2012. He scored 8 goals in 29 appearances for the club, and spent the entirety of the 2013–14 season on loan at Charlton Athletic. He returned to the Premier League with Burnley for the 2014–15 season, but was mostly utilised as a substitute. Bolton (, locally ) is a large town in Greater Manchester in North West England, formerly a part of Lancashire. A former mill town, Bolton has been a production centre for textiles since Flemish people, Flemish weavers settled in the area in the 14th century, introducing a wool and cotton-weaving tradition. The 2009–10 Football League (known as the Coca-Cola Football League for sponsorship reasons) was the 111th completed season of the Football League. It began in August 2009 and concluded in May 2010, with the promotion play-off finals. The Football League is contested through three Divisions. The divisions are the League Championship, League One and League Two. The winner and the runner up of the League Championship will be automatically promoted to the Premier League and they will be joined by the winner of the League Championship playoff. FA Trophy
The Football Association Challenge Trophy, commonly known as the FA Trophy, is a men's football knockout cup competition run by and named after the English Football Association and competed for primarily by semi-professional teams. The competition was instigated in 1969 to cater to those non-league clubs that paid their players and were therefore not eligible to enter the FA Amateur Cup. Eligibility rules have changed over time, but from 2008 onwards the competition has been open to clubs playing in Steps 1–4 of the National League System, equivalent to tiers 5–8 of the overall English football league system.
