Marumo Gallants F.C.
Marumo Gallants is a South African football club based in Limpopo Province that will play in the National First Division in the 2023-24 season, following relegation from the South African Premier Division in 2022-23. They played in the DSTV Premiership for two seasons after purchasing a PSL license from Tshakuma Tsha Madzivhandila prior to the start of the 2021–22 season. Gallants play their home games in Polokwane at the Peter Mokaba Stadium, one of the 2010 FIFA World Cup stadia. 2021-2022 season Marumo Gallants finished in 10th place in the South African Premier Division in the 2021-22 season and reached the final of the Nedbank Cup, securing qualification for the 2022–23 CAF Confederation Cup. Peter Mokaba Stadium
The Peter Mokaba Stadium is a football and rugby union stadium in Polokwane (formerly Pietersburg), South Africa, that was used for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. It has a capacity of 45,500 but for the purposes of the 2010 FIFA World Cup the seating capacity was reduced to 41,733. It is named after Peter Mokaba, a former leader of the ANC Youth League. It is located 3 kilometers from the city center and is located just east of the older Peter Mokaba Stadium. The stadium is one of five new stadiums that were built for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Initial plans to upgrade the existing Old Peter Mokaba Stadium were abandoned in favour of the R1,245,000,000 (ZAR) new Peter Mokaba stadium. The stadium was used intensely for training and matches. Dylan Kerr (born 14 January 1967) is a Maltese-born English football manager and former professional footballer who played as a left back.
