Martyns Mannah
Martyns Ibipulo Mannah , (born 11 February 1975) is a Nigerian state-level politician. He was elected into the Rivers State House of Assembly in 2015, and represents the constituency of Ahoada East I as a member of the Rivers State People's Democratic Party. Early life and family Martyns Mannah was born in Port Harcourt, Rivers State on 11 February 1975 to the late Chief Dandison Mannah from Ahoada Main Town and Mrs. Regina Jumbo from Bonny Kingdom all from Rivers State. Education and early career Mannah attended State School 1, Ibadan and later transferred to UPE Modern Primary School Ahoada where he finished his primary education in 1989. Following on, he attended Western Ahoada County High School, Government Secondary School, Ubeta and then Michael Comprehensive College, Port Harcourt where he obtained his O' levels. Bonny, Rivers State
Bonny (originally Ibani) is a traditional, coastal town and a Local Government Area in Rivers State in southern Nigeria, on the Bight of Bonny. It is also the capital of the Kingdom of Bonny. Traditionally (especially between the 15th and 19th centuries) it was a major trading post of the eastern Delta, and its economy witnessed the sale of slaves. Bonny Island is a major export point for oil today. The region produces a type of crude oil known as Bonny Light oil. Much of the oil extracted onshore in Rivers State is piped to Bonny for export. It has the biggest LNG Gas Plant in Nigeria with six (6) trains. Currently, the Federal Government of Nigeria has set plans for the construction of the 7th train of the NLNG to boost its gas production in anticipation of dominating the African market. Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole (born 4 April 1952), is a Nigerian politician and the former National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress. He had previously served as the President of Nigeria Labour Congress from 1999 to 2007 and the executive governor of Edo State, Nigeria from 2008 to 2016. Kingdom Of Bonny
The Kingdom of Bonny, otherwise known as Grand Bonny, is a traditional state based on the town of Bonny in Rivers State, Nigeria. In the pre-colonial period, it was an important slave trading port, later trading palm oil products. During the 19th century the British became increasingly involved in the internal affairs of the kingdom, in 1886 assuming control under a protectorate treaty.
