Martyn Booty
Martyn James Booty (born 30 May 1971) is an English former professional footballer who played as a defender. He made more than 300 appearances in the Football League for Coventry City, Crewe Alexandra, Reading, Southend United, Chesterfield and Huddersfield Town. He had two spells as Assistant Manager of Hyde United F.C. His son Regan plays for Notts County. Career Early career Born in Kirby Muxloe, Leicestershire, but grew up in Anstey with his parents Nell and John, and brother Michael. He started his football career as a trainee at Coventry City, but struggled to break into the first team. In 2003, Peter Jackson, who had just been re-appointed manager of Huddersfield Town, brought Booty in to help with the club's revitalisation following two relegations in three seasons, but he picked up an injury and only played four games during that season. Kirby Muxloe
Kirby Muxloe is a large village and civil parish that forms part of the Blaby district of Leicestershire, England. Located to the west of Leicester, its proximity to the city has resulted in its inclusion in the Leicester Urban Area. The Leicester Forest East parish border runs along the Hinckley Road A47. Northern Premier League
The Northern Premier League is an English football league that was founded in 1968. It has four divisions: the Premier Division (which stands at level 7 of the English football league system), Division One East, Division One West and Division One Midlands (which stand at level 8). Geographically, the league covers all of Northern England and the northern/central areas of the Midlands, and western parts of East Anglia. Originally a single-division competition, a second division was added in 1987: Division One, and in 2007 a third was added when Division One split into two geographic sections - Division One North and Division One South. Peter Allan Jackson (born 6 April 1961 in Bradford, England) is a football manager and former footballer. He has previously had two spells as Huddersfield Town manager, whom he helped win the Division Three play-off in 2004, and he has also managed Lincoln City, before taking charge at his former playing club Bradford City in 2011. As a player, Jackson started his career with his hometown club Bradford City, where as the club's youngest ever captain, he lifted the Third Division title in 1985 on the day of the Bradford City stadium fire.
