Marty Fields
Marty Fields (born 18 December 1961) is an Australian comedian, host/mc, actor, writer, musician, singer, and radio presenter from Melbourne. Professional career The son of Australian actors Maurie Fields and Val Jellay, Fields has had long-running roles on '' Hey Hey It's Saturday'', ''Blue Heelers'', ''Blankety Blanks'' and various other television shows. He starred in over a dozen musicals including ''Guys and Dolls'', ''High Society'' and '' Crazy for You'', receiving a Green Room award for best actor in a musical. He has performed extensively around the world including shows at The Riviera (Las Vegas), The New York Comedy Club (NYC), and Howl at the Moon (Chicago). Fields has worked alongside performers including Marina Prior, Jimeoin, and John Farnham. He has written two TV comedy shows and many newspaper and magazine articles, and is the creator and composer of the Australian musical ''The Paradise''. Maurie Fields
Maurice Fields (born Maurice Sheil, 4 August 1926 – 18 December 1995) was an Australian vaudeville performer, actor and stand-up comedian. Career Fields became a well-known face on television first thanks to his comic sketches on live programs like ''Sunnyside Up'' and later dramatic roles as the conniving John Quinney in ABC TV's ''Bellbird''. He also featured in many soap operas on commercial television, including ''Cop Shop'', '' The Box'', ''Prisoner'' (a small part playing crooked screw Leonard "Len" Murphy, and he had previously played two smaller parts in the show) and publican Vic Buckley in ''The Flying Doctors''. Melbourne Storm
The Melbourne Storm are a rugby league club based in Melbourne, Victoria in Australia that participates in the National Rugby League. The first fully professional rugby league team based in the state, the Storm entered the competition in 1998. The Storm were originally a Super League initiative, created in 1997 during the Super League war, however, following the Super League collapse, the team became a part of the newly formed, united competition. The club play their home games at AAMI Park. The Storm have won four premierships since their inception, in 1999, 2012, 2017 and 2020, and have contested several more grand finals, but were stripped of the 2007 and 2009 premierships following salary cap breaches. Valerie Muriel Jellay (born Valerie Jelly; September 1927 – 6 May 2017) was an Australian vaudevillian, actress, soubrette, dancer, author and TV personality. At the time of her death, she was the widow of fellow Australian vaudevillian, actor and comedian Maurie Fields; together they were in general considered to be a duo act in the entertainment industry. She was the mother of comedian and actor Marty Fields. Her early career had been in vaudeville and on stage before becoming a staple on the small screen in 1957.
