Marty Bracey
Martin K. Bracey (born September 17, 1954, in Chicago, Illinois), known as Marty Bracey, is an American drummer and percussionist mostly known for being in many Japanese bands. He has worked with Minako Honda, Junko Yagami, and Kenji Ozawa as well as bands such as Omega Tribe and Monta & Brothers. Biography Bracey started playing drums at the age of 12. At the age of 18, Bracey made his professional debut in America performing for Jackie Wilson, The Chi-Lites, and Tyrone Davis during live performances. He came to Japan in 1973, making his professional debut in Japan in 1978. He started in Japan as the drummer for Rie Nakahara's song "Tokyo Lullaby," which peaked at No. 9 on the charts, as well as being the drummer for Izumi Kobayashi & Flying Mimi Band. Two years later, he joined the Japanese band Monta & Brothers, drumming for the single "Dancing All Night" which was a No. 1 single on the Oricon charts for 10 consecutive weeks. Jackie Wilson
Jack Leroy Wilson Jr. (June 9, 1934 – January 21, 1984) was an American singer and performer of the 1950s and 60s. He was a prominent figure in the transition of rhythm and blues into soul. Nicknamed "Mr. Excitement", he was considered a master showman and one of the most dynamic singers and performers in soul, R&B, and rock and roll history. Wilson gained initial fame as a member of the R&B vocal group Billy Ward and His Dominoes. He went solo in 1957 and scored over 50 chart singles spanning the genres of R&B, pop, soul, doo-wop, and easy listening. This included 16 Top 10 R&B hits, six of which ranked as number ones. Teruo Gotō
Teruo Gotō (後藤輝夫, ''Gotō Teruo''; born February 19, 1953, in Sakata, Yamagata, Japan) is a Japanese saxophonist and percussionist. Biography After he graduated from Sakata Chuo High School, he attended an art university to study photography, but spent more time playing saxophone in a jazz group. In 1979, he joined Junko Ohashi and Minoya Central Station releasing the album ''Full House'' that same year and ''Hot Life'' a year later. During the production of ''Full House'', Gotō met drummer Marty Bracey as they were both participants of the backing band. In 1987, he joined the band 1986 Omega Tribe as a backing member along with Bracey, keyboardist Tetsuya Osaka and bassist Shigeru Watanabe. The members also participated in the band's tours, with Watanabe being replaced the same year by Wornell Jones. Gotō and the others stayed as members until the band's disbandment in 1991. Wornell Jones
Wornell Jones (born November 14) is an American bassist. He has performed with many people and groups in the United States and Japan, including likes of Sly and the Family Stone, Koko Taylor, Chage and Aska, Hiromi Go, and Omega Tribe. He is sometimes given the nickname "The Sonic Prince" from the live album '' Night After Night'' by Nils Lofgren, which he participated in. Biography Jones was born in Washington, D.C. and grew up in one of its neighborhoods. He started playing with the Palatons before going into various clubs and playing with blues musicians, including guitarist Bobby Parker. He started venturing into playing in studio sessions via one of the Bon Jovi brothers.
