Martonvásár () is a district in eastern part of Fejér County. '' Martonvásár'' is also the name of the town where the district seat is found. The district is located in the Central Transdanubia Statistical Region. Geography Martonvásár District borders with Bicske District to the north, Érd District and Ráckeve District ''( Pest County)'' to the east, Dunaújváros District to the south, Gárdony District to the west. The number of the inhabited places in Martonvásár District is 8. Municipalities The district has 2 towns and 6 villages. Districts Of Hungary
Districts of Hungary are the second-level divisions of Hungary after counties. They replaced the 175 subregions of Hungary in 2013. There are 174 districts in the 19 counties, and there are 23 districts in Budapest. Districts of the 19 counties are numbered by Arabic numerals and named after the district seat, while districts of Budapest are numbered by Roman numerals and named after the historical towns and neighbourhoods. In Hungarian, the districts of the capital and the rest of the country hold different titles. Ráckeresztúr
Ráckeresztúr is a village in Fejér County, Hungary. It is situated in the Martonvásár District of Fejér County, about 30 km south-west of Budapest on the broad alluvial plain between the Vértes Hills and the Danube. The settlement occupies 35.3 km2 and had 3,581 inhabitants at the 2022 census, giving a population density just above 100 per square kilometre. It lies on the left bank of the Szent László-patak, a minor stream draining the mezzanine between Lake Velence and the Danube, and functions today as a commuter village with direct road links to the M7 motorway and suburban rail connections through nearby Martonvásár. The first extant written reference to the locality—then simply "Keresztúr"—occurs in a 1347 boundary charter issued during the reign of Louis I, while archaeological surface finds point to earlier Avar, Celtic and Roman activity. Kajászó
Kajászó is a village in Fejér county, Hungary. Location Kajászó is located 35 kilometers southwest of Budapest, about halfway between the capital and Székesfehérvár, in the Vál Valley, 2 kilometers from the M7 motorway, along the road 811 between Baracska and Alcsútdoboz. Origin of the name Kajászó The Huns, who attacked the Roman Empire from the east, crossed the Danube near today's Százhalombatta. A significant battle took place in Tárnok Valley. The Hun leader Keve fell in the battle, and is said to be buried there. According to some sources, Attila the Hun himself rests in this area. The name of the settlement was originally Keveháza (house of Keve), then Keveaszó, (Cuwe azoa, Keueozou), later Keazó, and finally Kajászó with today's pronunciation.
