Martin Detlef Zwicker (born 27 February 1987) is a German field hockey player who plays as a midfielder or forward for Berliner HC and the German national team. 2015 Men's EuroHockey Nations Championship
The 2015 Men's EuroHockey Championship was the 15th edition of the men's EuroHockey Nations Championship, the biennial international men's field hockey championship of Europe organised by the European Hockey Federation. It was held from 21–29 August 2015 in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London, England. The Netherlands defeated the defending champions Germany 6–1 in the final to capture their fourth title, while Ireland won their first-ever medal by beating the hosts England 4–2. Field Hockey At The 2020 Summer Olympics – Men's Tournament
The men's field hockey tournament at the 2020 Summer Olympics was the 24th edition of the field hockey event for men at the Summer Olympic Games. It was held from 24 July to 5 August 2021. All games were played at the Oi Hockey Stadium in Tokyo, Japan. It was originally scheduled to be held from 25 July to 6 August 2020, but on 24 March 2020, the Olympics were postponed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Because of this pandemic, the games were played behind closed doors. Argentina won the previous olympic field hockey event but were eliminated in the quarterfinals. Belgium captured their first gold medal after defeating Australia in the final after penalties. The 2014 Men's Hockey World Cup was the 13th edition of the Hockey World Cup, the quadrennial world championship for men's national field hockey teams organized by the FIH. The German Hockey Federation (german: Deutscher Hockey-Bund or DHB) is the national governing body for field (and indoor) hockey in Germany. It was founded in 1909 in Bonn. Men's Indoor Hockey World Cup
The Men's Indoor Hockey World Cup is an international indoor field hockey competition organised by the International Hockey Federation (FIH). The tournament was first held in 2003 and it is held every four years. Format Twelve qualified teams will be divided into two pools. The top two in their pool qualified for first to fourth classification, while third and fourth qualified for fifth to eighth classification, the last two teams will play for the last four placings. Indoor Hockey
Indoor hockey is an indoor variant of field hockey. It is similar to the outdoor game in that two teams compete to move a hard ball into the goal of the opposing side using hockey sticks. Indoor hockey is played on a smaller area and between smaller teams than field hockey and the sidelines are replaced by solid barriers from which the ball rebounds and remains in play. It is traditionally and mainly played as a pastime by outdoor field hockey players during the off-season or when conditions are unsuitable for outdoor play.
