Martin Vingaard
Martin Vingaard (born 20 March 1985) is a Danish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He currently manages the under-17 team of FC Copenhagen. Club career Vingaard was born in Odense, Denmark, and grew up in the suburb of Fangel. After a strong season with his club FC Copenhagen, Vingaard was one of the nominees for Danish Football Player of the Year 2010, an award eventually won by teammate and captain William Kvist. On 22 April 2019, Vingaard signed for the rest of the season with HB Køge. His retirement from football was announced on 16 July 2020. International career He scored his first goal for the Denmark national football team in the friendly match against Poland on 1 June 2008. The 2008–09 Danish Cup was the 55th season of only Danish football cup competition. It was the first time since 2004 that the cup had a sponsor name: the daily newspaper Ekstra Bladet has signed a 3-year contract with the Danish Football Association (DBU), making the official name ''Ekstra Bladet Cup 2008–09''. The competition started in August 2008 with the First Round and concluded on May 21, 2009, with the Final, held at Parken Stadium. First round In this round entered 96 teams. These include 55 teams from lower divisions, who have qualified through preliminary cups held by the regional associations, 25 teams from Second Divisions 2007–08 and all 16 teams from First Division 2007–08. The Danish Cup ( da, Landspokalturneringen; often referred to as Pokalen) is the official "knockout" cup competition in Danish football, run by the Danish Football Association. The cup has been contested annually since 1955. The winner will qualify for the UEFA Europa League tournament the following year, where they (as of the 2009–10 season) will enter in the third qualifying round. The 2012–13 Danish Superliga season was the 23rd season of the Danish Superliga, which decided the Danish football championship. It marked the 100 year anniversary of the first ever Danish Football Championship, held in 1912–13. The season began on 13 July 2012 and ended on 20 May 2013. 2010–11 Danish Superliga
The 2010–11 Danish Superliga season was the 21st season of the Danish Superliga championship, which decides the Danish football championship. It began on 17 July 2010 with the previous season's silver medalists from Odense facing Esbjerg and ended on 29 May 2011 with six simultaneous matches. F.C. Copenhagen secured the title when Odense lost 1-2 to Nordsjælland on 21 April 2011, for their ninth Danish championship.
