Martin Villeneuve
Martin Villeneuve () is a Canadian screenwriter, producer, director, actor, and art director. He was nominated at the Canadian Screen Award (formerly Genie Awards, Genie Award) in 2013 for Best Adapted Screenplay, for ''Mars et Avril'', his feature film debut, and Quebec's first true science fiction movie. Villeneuve is the first TED (conference), TED speaker to come out of Quebec, and he has worked for Cirque du Soleil as an artistic director for commercials and films. He is also known for ''The 12 Tasks of Imelda'', his second feature film released in 2022, in which he portrays his own grandmother. Bécancour, Quebec
Bécancour () is a city in the Centre-du-Québec region of Quebec, Canada; it is the seat of the Bécancour Regional County Municipality. It is located on the south shore of the Saint Lawrence River at the confluence of the Bécancour River, opposite Trois-Rivières. Wôlinak, an Abenaki Indian reserve, is an enclave within the town of Bécancour. They arrived from Norridgewock, Maine (formerly Acadia) in the aftermath of Father Rale's War. ''Screen'' was an Indian weekly film magazine published by Indian Express Limited. Established in 1951, it was owned by The Indian Express Group. The magazine was acquired by Star India in 2015 and subsequently ceased publication. The magazine's content focused on India's Hindi film industry, a.k.a. Bollywood, located mainly in Mumbai. Corteo is a Cirque du Soleil touring production that premiered in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on April 21, 2005. As of May 24, 2005, Cirque du Soleil had broken its record of spectators for the première location in Montreal; more than 200,000 people had viewed the production, far outpacing the prior record of 180,000 tickets sold for ''Varekai'' during its première. The show's final performance under the big top took place in Quito, Ecuador on 13 December 2015.
