Martin Reimer
Martin Reimer (born 14 June 1987) is a German former professional road bicycle racer, who rode professionally from 2008 to 2011 and from 2013 to 2015. In 2009 he was the unlikely winner of the German National Road Race Championship. In November 2011 he announced his early retirement from the sport of cycling. However, he changed his mind for the 2013 season and signed for team . He retired again after the 2015 season. The 2009 Tour of Britain was a UCI 2.1 category race of eight stages from 12 September till 19 September 2009. The race was the sixth edition of the latest version of the Tour of Britain and the seventieth British tour in total. It formed part of the 2008–2009 UCI Europe Tour. The 2009 Paris–Tours is the 103rd edition of this single day road bicycle racing event and is organized by the Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO), which also runs the Tour de France. The 230 km event took place on October 11, 2009 and was won by Philippe Gilbert, the Belgium, Belgian rider for Silence–Lotto in 5 hours, 12 minutes, 23 seconds. Gilbert, along with countryman Tom Boonen (Quick Step) and Slovenia's Borut Božič (Vacansoleil), escaped with 7 km to go at the base of the Côte de l'Epan behind an attack from Gilbert's teammate Greg Van Avermaet. TF1 Group (french: Groupe TF1) is a French media holding company. Its best-known property is the broadcast network TF1. The group was formed after TF1 was privatized in April 1987. It is controlled with a 43% stake by Bouygues, and is quoted on Euronext Paris.
