Martin McDonagh (athlete)
Martin Faranan McDonagh (; born 26 March 1970) is a British-Irish playwright and filmmaker. He is known for his absurdist black humour which often challenges the modern theatre aesthetic. He has received numerous accolades including an Academy Award, six BAFTA Awards, four Golden Globe Awards, three Olivier Awards, and nominations for five Tony Awards. His plays, many of which have been produced on the West End and on Broadway, include ''The Beauty Queen of Leenane'' (1996), ''The Cripple of Inishmaan'' (1996), ''The Lonesome West'' (1997), ''The Lieutenant of Inishmore'' (2001), ''The Pillowman'' (2003), ''A Behanding in Spokane'' (2010), and '' Hangmen'' (2015). Camberwell () is a district of South London, England, in the London Borough of Southwark, southeast of Charing Cross. Camberwell was first a village associated with the church of St Giles and a common of which Goose Green is a remnant. Easky or Easkey (; ) is a village in County Sligo, Ireland. It is on the Atlantic coast, from Sligo and from Ballina, County Mayo. Killeenduff () is a townland within the boundaries of the civil parish of Easky, County Sligo in Ireland. Located about a mile from the village of Easky, Killeenduff has an area of approximately . The townland is home to the "Split Rock". The Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film is an award presented at the annual Academy Awards ceremony. The award has existed, under various names, since 1957. From 1936 until 1956 there were two separate awards, "Best Short Subject, One-reel" and "Best Short Subject, Two-reel", referring to the running time of the short: a standard Reel#Motion picture terminology, reel of film is 1000 feet, or about 11 minutes of run time.
